En detalle
In vivo research demands environments where animal welfare and experimental integrity are the same requirement — not competing priorities. We design animal facilities under Directive 2010/63/EU and FELASA guidelines: barrier facilities, individually ventilated cage (IVC) rooms, preparation and recovery surgical suites, and rigorous physical separation between housing, procedure and researcher zones.
HVAC engineering in an animal facility has no equivalent: independent air treatment per room, cage exhaust management, odour control that maintains researcher working conditions, and pressure differentials designed for the specific biosafety classification of each programme. The environment does not contaminate the data. That is the design requirement.
Preservation environments for museums and archives, with stable temperature and humidity plus continuous monitoring.
