Cryogenic biobanks for biological material storage — cells, tissues, gametes, oncological samples, analytical reference standards — operate under a constraint shared by no other storage application: the material cannot be replaced if the system fails. We design cryogenic biobanks from −20°C chambers to liquid nitrogen systems, with N+1 redundancy on all critical refrigeration equipment, multichannel temperature monitoring backed by UPS, documented emergency response protocols and GDP/GMP qualification where the material requires chain-of-custody documentation.
