Dew point −55°C. Any humidity deviation is a defective cell and a safety event. Simultaneously.
El mercado en detalle
Lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing is one of the most demanding dry room applications in industrial production. Electrode materials are extremely moisture-sensitive: dew points of −40°C to −55°C are standard process requirements, not conservative targets. Humidity deviations during production translate directly into defective cells, compromised cycle life and safety risk in the final product.
Dry rooms for electrode production, cell assembly and electrolyte filling — with HVAC systems sized for the full dehumidification load, N+1 redundancy in critical equipment and ATEX zone classification for hydrogen management in battery storage and formation zones. In battery manufacturing, an HVAC failure is simultaneously a production stoppage, a quality event and a safety incident.
